In this project, I explored silent, physical contact with ancient pine trees growing by a lake near the Rotefabrik. While waiting for classes to begin, I would stand among them — touching their bark, breathing in their scent, observing.
This daily ritual became deeply connected to my inner state and the events of my life. I began drawing the trees and the atmosphere of those days with ink, capturing moments of quiet presence and emotional resonance. These drawings became records of deep contact — between body, nature, and time.
